Roxana is a social anthropologist, obtaining her master's degree from the University of Chile with an extensive specialization in organizational development, gender and ethnicity. Her professional career has been oriented not only towards organizational development but also to teaching and researching in the public and private sectors in Chile. With more than 20 years as an organizational consultant in four consulting companies, she has advised countless Chilean and South American enterprises in subjects such as organizational climate, development of working competencies, cross-cultural relationships in multicultural teams, teamwork and leadership. Roxana has dedicated her research work as an anthropologist to issues such as gender and social change in the Rom people in Chile, which she has published and presented at international and national congresses and seminars in anthropology and social sciences.

Roxana lived and worked in the United States for four years and then she went to Japan, where she studied an important part of her specialization in gender through JICA. She has lectured in Tokyo and Akita about the working situation of women in Chile.

She is currently working as a professor of human resources at the Industries, Economics and Business Department in the Federico Santa Maria Technical University in Chile. She also participates in various investigations for companies along with the Market Engineering Center (CIMER), where she is in charge of the qualitative area in social investigations.
