Robin Elizabeth Young, M.B.A.
Former Resident Coordinator, Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), Santo Domingo
Robin received her Bachelor's degree from Lewis & Clark College in 2007, with a double major in sociology/anthropology and hispanic studies, and a minor in ethnic studies, and earned an MBA from Florida International University in 2010. Following graduation from Lewis & Clark College, she moved to the Dominican Republic to research gender-based violence and conduct support groups with a Fulbright Grant.
In 2008, she became Resident Coordinator and Internship Coordinator for the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE)'s Santo Domingo program. Robin works extensively with local non-profit and community-based organizations on a wide variety of issues as a result of directing the internship program. She has completed a seminar through the Summer Institute on Intercultural Communication in Portland, Oregon, and teaches a CIEE-designed seminar to university-age students on intercultural communication and learning.
