Seraphine Nguyen-Ngoc, Ph.D.

Seraphine Ngyuyen-Ngoc is a teacher, facilitator and consultant. She has worked in both large and small projects in Australia and Vietnam, in industries as varied as telecommunications, medical supplies, education and training, and aged care, and as diverse as factory construction and Vietnamese language and cultural briefings. She has also worked as a tutor in Anthropology at the University of Sydney. Her unique abilities enable her to provide insights into Vietnamese culture not only to foreign business people working in Vietnam (of both European and Asian origins), but also to Vietnamese workers working for foreign companies, to enable them to reflect on the behaviour they project.
Seraphine was born in Saigon. She attended the University of Sydney, where she received a B.A. in Social Anthropology and an M.A. in Anthropology, focusing on the role of religion in the development of the Vietnamese national identity. Her Ph.D. dissertation is on the role of culture and its influences on foreign investments in Vietnam.
Seraphine is bilingual in English and Vietnamese. She has traveled extensively and regularly to Vietnam and throughout Asia.
