Heather Robinson, M.A.
Founder, Success Across Borders
Heather Robinson heads Success Across Borders, a self-organizing network of consultants who, since 1988, have come together to provide the right blend of backgrounds: industry, national, language or technical, to increase the intercultural and organizational effectiveness of clients across the globe. Clients include DaimlerChrysler, Adobe, SAAB, Robert Bosch, BAE Systems, EADS, ThyssenKrupp, Stork/Fokker, Alenia Aerospazio and Jenoptik.
The child of a Swiss mother and a Canadian-born U.S. father, she has lived in India, Turkey, Switzerland, Germany, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Greece, Israel and Pakistan, her husband's country of origin. She now resides in the United States.
Heather has authored several articles on intercultural organization development and published numerous training activities and trainers' guides. She has a B.A. in biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a master's in whole systems design from Antioch University, where her area of concentration was strategic planning and systems design.
Heather served on the governing council of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR). She has been honored with the Making a Difference Award, the Red Cross Unsung Heroine Award, a Presidential Point of Light, and a trusteeship of the Nobel prize-winning Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
