HR Management Consultant
Bernhard is chairman and senior partner of Sariba AS, a consultancy firm based in Oslo, Norway focused on how to optimize human capital—through strategic and operative advisory, process change, project management, and IT system implementation. Statoil, Telenor, Gaz de France, Conoco Phillips, ABB, Coca Cola, Loomis, Falck, and Norway's ministries of Defence and Foreign Affairs are among the customers of Sariba AS. He specialises in HR Management Consulting, integrating business development and performance with dynamic human resources management, and organizational effectiveness and efficiency analysis.
In 1981 he joined Scandinavian Airlines in Oslo, Norway, where he worked until 2001, serving also as HR Director for Star Alliance (the global airlines alliance with SAS, Lufthansa, United Airlines, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Thai Airways, and Air China among its members). Bernhard then shifted over to the airline's parent company—SAS Group, based in Stockholm, Sweden—where he worked until 2006. His responsibilities included the role of chief people officer, the corporation's shared services, communication and public affairs, as well as being chair or board member of several subsidiaries in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Estonia.
