A graphic designer since 1984, Misty began her career in advertising design at a newspaper in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho before coming to her permanent home of Seattle, Washington; moving from the newspaper arena into magazine art direction and settling into the booming Seattle and San Francisco high-tech industries of the mid 1990s.
As the designer of all things Cultural Detective, she wields solid expertise in most areas of graphic design:
- Logo Design
- Internet: Website design (no business is too small) as well as Online Advertising
- Print: Brochures, Banners, Business Cards, Menus, Annual Reports, etc.
- Software: User Interface design and usability testing
- Presentation: All forms of Signage plus Powerpoint design
