Dr. Heike Pfitzner is a senior facilitator and coach specializing in intercultural competence-building for individuals, groups and intact teams, large-scale change management processes and executive leadership development.
With over 30 years of intensive engagement in Russia including living in Moscow for five years, Heike is an expert at assisting international companies in doing business in Russia. She offers intercultural relocation training to expats and their mixed culture teams, prepares international management teams to collaborate with their counterparts from other cultures, and delivers global leadership training programs for Russian leaders of international companies.
Heike serves clients in a variety of industries including automotive, food products, oil and gas, heavy machinery and retail. She has worked with companies such as Wintershall/BASF, Pepsico Russia, DIXI Russia, Bosch, BSH, ZF, Schaeffler, Volkswagen, Daimler, Kiekert, Yazaki, Linde, Airbus, and Lufthansa.
A native German with a Master’s degree in Pedagogy from Moscow Pedagogical University and a PhD in Developmental Psychology, Heike is a continuous learner. She participates in international conferences of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR), has been a member of the organizing committee for the SIETAR Deutschland Forum three times and co-leads the Regional Group of SIETAR in Germany North.
