Jennifer Pacheco
Jennifer Pacheco has worked in technology since 2008, first with Hewlett-Package and currently with Intel Corporation. Her primary role involves supporting Human Resource related applications and tools. Her work on virtual teams has exposed her to a wide range of cultures from around the world, including South America, which has made her well versed in the nuances amongst Spanish speaking cultures.
Prior to working in technology she was responsible for training and coaching in customer service for SBG Telepublicidad Bookmaking and a Supervisor for U.S. Airways and LACSA at the Juan SantamarĂa International Airport. In addition to her corporate roles, she continued her work with international groups as a tour guide for one of the biggest tour companies in Costa Rica called Horizontes, a subsidiary of the Boston based Thomson Family Adventure Group. She lived in the US and has traveled to Canada, throughout Central America and Europe.
Originally from Alajuela, Costa Rica, Jennifer studied Education and is currently pursuing a second degree in Business Administration. She is an entrepreneur who has been involved with two start ups and is also studying Portuguese as her third language in addition to Spanish and English. She currently lives with her two children and mother reflecting a common example of the Costa Rican core value of family. She loves nature, her family, and traveling, and considers meeting people from other cultures her greatest education.
