Geoffrey N. Abbott, Ph.D.

Geoffrey Abbott, Ph.D., is an executive coach and educator. He is currently Director of Executive Coaching at the Graduate School of Business, Queensland University of Technology, where he teaches and coaches across various corporate and master’s programs. Geoff is active in international coaching and delivers workshops and coaching through his company, The Centre for International Business Coaching. He specializes in coaching in complex international environments and is a passionate advocate for action learning methodologies.

Geoff is co-editor of The Routledge Companion to International Business Coaching (Moral and Abbott, 2011), and has numerous published articles and chapters on international coaching. He has over ten year’s experience as an executive with the Special Broadcasting Service, Australia’s national multicultural broadcaster; is a member of the Global Advisory Board of the Association for Coaching; regularly presents at coaching and related conferences; and is active in promoting coaching in Central America.
