President, KMS Consulting

Kelli McLoud-Schingen, M.A.

Kelli specializes in global and domestic diversity, dramatic presentations, cross-cultural communication, conflict resolution/mediation and teambuilding. She has facilitated workshops for educational, non-profit, government and corporate institutions in the USA and Europe since 1989. Kelli is certified as a professional mediator by the State of Texas and as an administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). She is an accomplished actor and director with several theatrical credits for performances in the US and England. She holds a B.A. in communication and a M.A. in cross-cultural studies.

Kelli grew up on the south side of Chicago in the predominately African-American community of Auburn-Gresham. Her professional work in the area of African-American culture is focused on healing racism and includes the signature dramatic narrative, "Anything but Black": an examination of internalized racism through the power of storytelling that has been used to kick start the conversation for multicultural audiences in the U.S. and Europe.

Kelli's clients have included Shell Oil, Chevron Phillips, Texas Historical Commission, Texas A&M University, San Francisco State University, National Children's Advocacy Centers, and the City of Helsinki, Finland. Kelli served as the president for SIETAR Houston and has been a board member for SIETAR USA. She currently lives in Tulsa, OK with her husband and two children.
