Intercultural Educator and Trainer

Yuko Kipnis, M.A.

Yuko has been working in the field of cross-cultural training and consulting since 1985, both in Japan and in the U.S., helping business people develop effective cross-cultural communication skills. Yuko also conducts relocation programs for expatriate executives and their families to facilitate their cross-cultural transitions. Her client list includes Intel, Texas Instruments, Toshiba and Kodak, among many others.

Born in Japan, Yuko lived and worked in the U.S. for over 18 years. She holds an M.A. in cross-cultural communication and a Japanese Language Teacher's Certificate authorized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology. Since 2006 Yuko has been living in Tokyo and working at an international school, where she teaches students from around the world. Yuko also collaborated with Dianne to produce Shinrai: Building Trusting Relationships with Japanese Colleagues.
